Setup & Configuration

This page will show you how to setup file-storage-api locally

Prerequisites​

  • Java 20
  • MariaDB
  • a workable file path for file-storage-api.

Plans to support web storage will be available in the future, if financial situation allows.

Setup​

  1. Download the sql file here, and import it to your MariaDB. SQL FIle

  2. Pull the project here.

  3. in your environment variables, supply MARIADB_USERNAME and MARIADB_PASSWORD with your credentials.

  4. Under spring.datasource.url, replace the db name with your database name.

  5. Run the app with ./gradlew bootRun
